Sophie is from Nottingham originally and moved to Spain when she was 10. She grew up in a small village called Albatera and studied an arts baccalaureate before deciding to move to London to study photography at university. Because Through her practice of photography it has inspired her to travel the world and discover different cultures.
She became interested in photography when in secondary school when she was bought her first camera and started taking photographs of her friends, the countryside where she lived, sunsets, etc. This is where Sophie’s love for landscape photography and portraiture comes from.
She is in her third year at London South Bank University, who has produced a self published photobook documenting her village back in Spain. She is also starting a new project using deferent methods of making imagery.
